What is Transactional SMS?
Transactional SMS are those which are sent to End User when any transaction is made. Transactions can be of any nature like
1. Buying stuff from Online Site,
2. Taking out money from ATM.
From SMS industry perspective they are sold at a premium price because they are to be sent on immediate basis.
Where they are used?
They are generally used when One Time Passwords are to be sent, when any transaction confirmation are sent, when any Near Real Time Communication is required.
What is required from the Customer to provide service?
1. Customer need to provide the SMS Template wherein certain part of the SMS is fixed and other is variable e.g. “Dear XXX, Thank you for shopping xxx, your order number is xxx”. Here xxx is variable part.
2. Sender ID (6 alphabets only, e.g. ALERTS)

What is IVR?
IVR is a system wherein any User can call to a particular Number and hear prerecorded voice.
